Last weekend I went to the Veggie World Festival – Europe’s oldest and largest vegan event, showcasing and selling only the highest quality vegan products. London hosted the second festival of the bunch so if you missed it or are located somewhere else in Europe, not to worry they will be on all around Europe all the way though to March 2018.
There were so many different food, beauty and lifestyle stands with loads of different tasters to try and lovely people to talk to. A couple of stands really stood out to me. First one was Conscious Chocolate . Little piggy that I am I just couldn’t get enough of the tasters and literally tried every single one of them! The one that really lingered on the taste buds for a while that I now wish I bought was the Essential Orange flavor. I’m normally not a fan of orange flavored chocolate but this one was just so smooth and delicate and so so yummy. Really regret not getting that one!
Another stand that I sadly forgot to take a photo of but would definitely recommend is Lettices cheeses and meats. Whatever you’re thinking of buying next – buy their Camembear Spread first! It tasted insane and you can bake it as well!
After all the tasting we got really hungry so we headed to the Vegan Hippo for their famous jackfruit burger but when we arrived they also had a vegan hot dog and vegan cheesy hippo balls on offer so we decided to get all of it haha:
When were nice and full we headed to the talks where I listened to Tim Shieff’s talk. He spoke about the importance of doing research on your drinking water and advised everyone to look into getting water distillers to optimise your well being. He has a great ethical clothing brand called Ethics and Antics as well that makes great t shirts, hoodies and sweatpants so go check it out. You can find some more information on what is distilled water and why drink it here.
Afterwards we went back to buy a few things to take away with us:
Again check out Lettices for vegan goodness such a garlic and herb dip and vegan feta that taste even better than dairy versions and Conscious Chocolate from whom I bought a bar of Coconut Crunch choccy. Find these snacks and more at The Vegan Kind website which is basically a vegan heaven.
Thank you for reading and have a fab day 🙂
